Welcome to the Chalmion Studio's official website!
Development of Jomar3D has restarted after the small pause that followed the last release, version 1.1; the SVN repository is up-to-date.
To who is interested by the evolution of that game, I suggest to test the SVN version. Changes (until now): rewrite and improvement of the Martian motion and periodical arrival of a new Martian from hyperspace.
The 1.1 version of Jomar3D has taken it's place in the Chalmion Studios. Precompiled archives are done. Note the fact that 64 bits Linux and FreeBSD balls are available too. The Screenshots are up-to-date in the gallery. Hip-hip-hip hurrah, have our new born baby a graceful life! But don't forget: it's your task, dear unknown, to give the game live. It's your turn.
We are proud to announce that we are a little late for the release of Jomar3D. But we aren't indeed as we gave no date! Now Jomar3D 1.1 is available. Enormous changes have been done in the source code and some everywhere during the play too. Discover it now! I wouldn't say more here.
I'm glad to announce that the next version of Jomar3D will soon be out. It's the result of a long development cycle (see the last version's date...) and contains a lot of changes in all levels of the games. The internal rendering procedure was very optimized and plenty of new features were added.
For those of you who are already interested, please find the howto of the SVN repository in another news...
A little late, I inform you that a Subversion (SVN) repository is now active for Jomar3D!
For those of you who want to download the latest version under development of Jomar3D, here is the
address of its repository:
svn://svn.tuxfamily.org/svnroot/chalmion/jomar3d
And for those who aren't familiar to SVN, the command line to get the sources is:
svn co svn://svn.tuxfamily.org/svnroot/chalmion/jomar3d/trunk jomar3d
I suggest to learn the bases of SVN though ;-)
Please note that you will find a version under development which may contain bugs
or new features that aren't really tested...
But of course bug reports are welcome: go on
our forum if you find anything bad!
Thanks another time to TuxFamily for the wonderful features provided for free to their users!
A page on the ubuntu-fr wiki was written, and we expect a lot from it.
Today is an important day: we launch our recoded website!
